Drawing Text On A Curve

I have noticed in the newsgroups that many people do not know how to draw text on a curve. It is not very difficult.

1st Step

Draw a thin line that helps you layout the lettering. The line can be any shape.

2nd Step

Layout the text in the normal manner and center it over the area of the line that you wish to wrap onto.

Make sure that you can move the letters and rotate them independently of each other. Don't make them "one object".

3rd Step

Start with the left of center letter. In this case it would be the last "t" in "Artist". Rotate it just slightly and move it down slightly to make it just touch the layout oval.

Continue on doing the same with each letter.

4th Step

After you have completed moving each letter into position and rotating it, delete the layout line. You now have text laid out to a curve.
